About the ministry: From day one, it’s always been about growing the Church through personal evangelism and sharing God’s Word with people. Our roots stretch back to 1911 when we were founded in Canada as an evangelism and Scripture distribution ministry.
In 2021, the entire ministry was brought under the umbrella of ShareWord Global and The Gideons International in Canada was established as a legacy ministry of it.
Today, we’re active in dozens of countries around the world—equipping, training, and mobilizing believers through local church partnerships and strategic partnerships, all for the glory of God. We ignite and fuel a passion in people’s hearts to share the gospel as a community of believers, to effectively introduce people to Jesus through God's Word. Because together, we can tell the world.
