About the ministry: The Christian Reformed World Relief Committee, now known as World Renew, is an agency of the Christian Reformed Church. Compelled by God’s deep passion for justice and mercy, World Renew joins communities around the world to renew hope, reconcile lives, and restore creation. In times of disaster, World Renew helps disaster survivors meet their immediate needs and stays to help people rebuild their lives for the long-term. In addition to this disaster response programming, World Renew’s staff members in 27 countries work directly with 84 local churches and partner agencies to carry out programs in literacy, justice education, business development, agriculture, savings and loans, and health care. The goal is to help communities meet their own needs while building their faith and worldview.
