About the ministry: Christians Against Poverty exists to inspire and equip church communities across Canada to help people out of poverty and invite them to follow Jesus.
We do this by inspiring and equipping church communities to walk alongside people facing financial insecurity with practical tools and innovative solutions.
CAP trains individuals in local churches to utilise our tools and resources to serve their local neighbourhood, giving scalability and contextualization.
Our heart is to provide the very best to the least in our local communities, and to do all of this with the hope of introducing people to Jesus.
Our services focus on financial sustainability with a proactive budgeting tool, the CAP Money Course and a responsive tool in our Debt Network for those wo are overwhelmed by debt.
