Cause Canada

About the ministry: Since 1984 CAUSE Canada has emphasized responsive programming addressing needs expressed by our partners overseas. We focus on primary health care, water and sanitation, primary education, environmental initiatives, women’s empowerment, and micro-enterprise programs.

CAUSE Canada understands that development is a process, not an end, and that to develop is not to have but to become. Consequently, CAUSE Canada plans, organizes, fundraises for, implements, and evaluates international development programs, in long-term partnership with communities, that focus on the strengths people and communities already possess. Our mission is assisting them to utilize those assets to become self-sustaining and prosperous, according to their own definitions.
